Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related events according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by assignment.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and/or policy violations, and report observations to the appropriate personnel while following post orders and local regulations.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation efforts during daily operations, service disruptions, and special events at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
