We're looking for a proactive, peoplefocused Human Resources Professionalto join our plant leadership team. In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to managers and employees alike, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping shape a positive, engaged, and highperforming workplace. What You'll Do
As our Human Resources Professional, you'll play a key role across many HR functions, including:
- Support core HR disciplines such as employee relations, benefits administration, compensation/merit processes, HR compliance, wellness initiatives, and employee activities
- Partner closely with leaders and key stakeholders to coach, influence, and support effective business decisions
- Prescreen candidates and support recruiting efforts to meet growing staffing needs
- Lead and support employee onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Serve as a resource for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and general HR support
- Assist with disciplinary processes, investigations (taking the lead when needed), and unemployment claims responses
- Maintain accurate employee personnel records and audit timekeeping data (UKG/Kronos)
- Identify training and development needs; deliver or coordinate soft skills training, policy updates, and required annual HR and legal training
- Monitor employee morale and culture; drive engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, onboarding improvements, and community outreach
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to support Safety, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain initiatives
- Maintain strong visibility on the plant floor and support effective facilitywide communication
- Continuously improve HR processes and help build a strong employer brand within the local community
What We're Looking For
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic environment
- Strong collaboration, coaching, and problemsolving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of motivation, initiative, and discretion
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems; UKG/Kronos experience is a plus
- Lean manufacturing knowledge or exposure preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting
- PHR certification preferred
