What to Expect As a Production Control Supervisor, you will be playing a critical role in the success of production. You will work in both the warehouse/production floor and will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with engineering, planning, and production to ensure production goals are being met. We are seeking candidates for both day and nighttime shifts. As we continue to increase our production volume there will be a need to demonstrate flexibility and work different schedules in order to reach quarterly and annual production goals. What You'll Do Provide supervision of day-to-day operations including receiving, stocking, shipping and all transactions related to activities inbound/outbound items Ensure efficiency and accuracy of stocking and organization of parts inventory as well as finished goods inventory Work closely with the parts & service buyers, logistics and quality teams, as well as with internal and external customers Maintain an organized/clean 5S facility with an emphasis on safety and ensuring efficiency and on time delivery of goods Tesla people leaders are responsible for a variety of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) assurance functions, including ensuring their teams' safety training is current, documenting EHS incidents, proactively correcting workplace hazards in the areas, and empowering others to continuously improve operations What You'll Bring Degree preferred or relevant experience Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment Flexibility to change assigned work shift, as our facility continues to ramp the needs of production will change and this may result in a change to work schedule to ensure the business demands are met Robust experience in creating metrics for performance management Excel, Confluence, and Jira knowledge Able to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various teams including service and supply chain personnel Must have control of the English language, both written and verbal
