This position directs multi-channel corporate logistics services across all businesses in a cost-effective and service-sensitive manner. Responsible for transportation services to chain of over 200+ stores with all associated Drug Enforcement Activity regulatory requirements.
Position will follow a hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.
What You'll be Doing:
- Execute cost control strategies across the corporation, including retail margins and operational P&L's.
- Execute transportation mode strategies that includes small parcel, less than truckload, intermodal, rail, consolidation and deconsolidation.
- Lead team responsible for sourcing and negotiating domestic service providers across all modes: Small parcel, LTL, Truckload, intermodal.
- Actively engage with Digital Team on logistics support for home delivery.
- Stay current with team focus on regulatory requirements relative to CPSC corrective action program and commitments working cross functionally with Legal and Internal Audit.
- Lead team in alignment with corporate P&L goals and in stock requirements working cross functionally to meet goals.
- Engage with Supply Chain on projects requiring domestic logistics analysis.
- Engage in actively hiring, training and developing present and future leaders.
- Establish and deploy policies, processes, organizational structure and programs to support supply chain vision.
- Manage all mode service provider compliance to meet corporate in-stock strategy from approximately 5600 vendors across the globe inbound to 26 distribution facilities.
- Responsible for state-of-the-art knowledge to support systems and software applications to drive logistics cost efficiencies and carrier freight bill payment.
- Collaborate with other departments in the company to accomplish strategic objectives including Merchandising, Planning, Distribution, Finance and Accounting, Legal, Quality Assurance, Product Development and Corporate Asset Protection.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree of Supply Chain Logistics or associated discipline required.
- 8-10 years of progressive growth and experience in supply chain in associated fields.
- Proven ability to work across the corporation with all levels, including Sr. Leadership, to drive strategies and meet goals and objectives.
- Strong and proven capabilities at building a team and growing future leaders.
- Verbal and communication skills to clearly articulate, in person or in writing, across multiple disciplines.
- Strong knowledge, experience and successful track record managing global business practices.
