Job Brief

Inspect, repair, replace, lubricate and maintain mechanical equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Dyno Nobel HSEQ Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

*This is a temporary position expected to last 6 months*

Pay: $47 an hour

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and facilities-helping drive reliability and performance across the site. You will inspect, repair, replace, lubricate and maintain mechanical equipment and facilities. Other duties include:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment
  • Drive preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Partner with experienced mechanics on troubleshooting and performance testing
  • Proactively support preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with your team to solve complex problems and keep operations moving
  • Collaborate with maintenance team members to diagnose issues and validate equipment performance

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and their proper use.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain a TWIC card.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
