Department:ICE | LPSL CPATH ACC Apheresis ProgramDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The purpose of this position is to monitor and care for patients during the collection of HPC and during therapeutic plasma exchanges, TP, Photopheresis, White blood cell reduction, and platelet reduction.The UAMS Apheresis Clinic is the only one of its kind in the state of Arkansas. We focus on improving patient outcomes by performing advanced apheresis techniques, research, and educating students and Residents. Additional Information: The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care for patients within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and adheres to institutional policies, procedures and standards. The RN is responsible to adhere to the standard of care defined by UAMS, ANA, and Standards for specialty patient population with support and mentoring by other team members.
