The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $110,000-$148,600 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job DescriptionRed Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our National Accounts team in Wholesale.This roleis responsible fordeveloping,directingand administering sales and distribution strategies fornamed accounts consisting of nationwide, complex,and/ormulti-door accounts.This position willbe responsible forbuilding strategic relationshipsand generating business with named accounts, throughexpertiseinaccount managementandplanning. This role will report to the Director of Key Accounts. Essential Duties include:
B.S./B.ADegree ina related field of study, with a minimumof 7 yearsofin sales or account management with proven experience in managing a book of businessthrough strategic selling; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Footwearsales or/and selling premiumproductis preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Work Environment: This is a home-based position.The work environment is highly fieldbased and customerfacing, requiring regular attendance at meetings, trade shows, and industry events throughout the assigned territory to support business needs. This role involves significant overnight travel, with approximately 70% of time spent traveling within the territory and the remaining 20% working from a homebased office.
