The University of Iowa Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Occupational Medicine is seeking a part-time faculty member with a focus and expertise in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to participate in the patient care missions of UI Health Care. This position will be a visiting appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. This position will have 49% effort at UI Health Care. Duties will include inpatient and outpatient pulmonary and critical care medicine. Requirements: Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent and have completed an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship. Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Critical Care Medicine. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Desirable qualifications: Applicants with evidence of a strong commitment to teaching are preferred. ------- Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check.
