The Director, Supply Chain provides strategic and operational leadership for transportation, logistics, warehousing, and demand planning across the Americas region, supporting Bracco's OneBracco operating model. This role is responsible for building and leading a highperforming, compliant, and costeffective supply chain organization that ensures product availability, patient safety, and service excellence while driving continuous financial and operational improvement across multiple Bracco entities. The Director, Supply Chain plays a critical leadership role in designing, executing, and continuously improving Bracco's transportation, logistics, warehousing, and demand planning operations across the Americas region. Operating within the OneBracco model, this role is accountable for building a resilient, compliant, and costeffective supply chain that supports commercial growth, high customer service levels, and patient safety across multiple Bracco entities. This position combines strategic planning with handson operational leadership. The Director will oversee thirdparty logistics providers, transportation carriers, and enabling technology platforms while ensuring full compliance with FDA regulations and GxP requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to balance service, quality, cost, and risk, while driving standardization, visibility, and continuous improvement across a complex, multisite, regulated environment. The Director, Supply Chain serves as a key business partner to Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Global Operations teams and regularly interfaces with senior leaders, external service providers, and global corporate stakeholders. This individual will lead a regional team, manage significant spend, influence enterprisewide supply chain strategy, and play a central role in supporting new product launches, demand shifts, and longterm growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead endtoend supply chain operations for the Americas region, including transportation, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and demand planning Provide strategic oversight and daytoday management of inbound and outbound transportation operations, including carrier selection, contract management, SLAs, performance metrics, audits, and cost optimization Oversee GDPcompliant warehousing and distribution services through 3PL partners, including pick, pack, ship, returns, inventory accuracy, and distribution resource planning Develop and execute transportation and supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer service expectations Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GxP requirements (GDP/GMP), including temperaturecontrolled shipments, serialization, product traceability, quality agreements, and disaster recovery planning Lead Americas regional demand planning and inventory governance, aligning statistical forecasts with Sales and Commercial inputs through the S&OP process Own supply chain performance KPIs (OTIF, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, backorders, obsolete inventory, transportation cost) and drive rootcause analysis and corrective actions Manage supply chain financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, transportation spend, and costreduction initiatives Partner crossfunctionally to support new product launches, supply changes, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning Lead supply chain projects, system enhancements (TMS/WMS/ERP), process improvements, and change management efforts Prepare and present operational performance, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership Supervisory Responsibilities & Team Oversight Lead and develop a Supply Chain organization consisting of approximately 5 fulltime employees and 1-2 contractors, providing coaching, performance management, and development planning Provide overall operational and strategic oversight of 3PL logistics services, including warehousing, distribution, and valueadded services Own governance and performance management of the Transportation Management Service (TMS), ensuring system effectiveness, data integrity, and alignment with operational and financial objectives Maintain overall responsibility for inbound and outbound transportation carriers, including selection, performance management, compliance, and cost optimization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or master's degree preferred 8-12 years of progressive supply chain or operations experience within a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or other FDAregulated environment 5+ years of people leadership and/or project management experience, including oversight of 3PLs and external transportation partners Strong working knowledge of FDA regulations and GxP requirements (GDP/GMP) and regulated distribution environments Demonstrated experience across transportation, logistics, warehousing, demand planning, and inventory management Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and costoptimization initiatives Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP and analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI); professional certifications a plus (APICS, Lean Six Sigma, PMP) Soft Skills - Company Values & Behaviours Adhere to the Bracco's core values, including: Passion: Connecting People and Networking; Be Yourself Extraordinary: Leading People and Delegation; Courage Continuous Evolution: Insight and Learning Agility; Digital and Technology Orientation Sustainability: Long-Term Value Creation; Accountability Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
