Estimator - Aluminum and Steel

Wagner is looking for an Estimator to join our team and play a key role in winning and launching projects. In this role, you'll take projects from initial bid through post-award, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates.

What You'll Do

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of project types (budgetary, public bids, GMP, etc.)

* Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to define scope, materials, and labor

* Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing and availability

* Identify risks, clarify scope gaps, and provide value engineering options

* Track project changes (RFIs, revisions, bulletins) and update estimates accordingly

* Submit bids and maintain accurate project documentation

* Support project teams post-award with pricing, change orders, and kickoff activities

What We're Looking For

* 3-5+ years of estimating experience (construction, fabrication, or related industry)

* Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings

* Strong understanding of materials such as aluminum and steel

* Experience with tools like Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar estimating software

* Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines independently

* Strong communication and collaboration skills
