Distribution Center Associate Sacramento, CA Shifts : 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM (1st Shift) OR 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (2nd Shift) Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour 26-04222 Job Summary The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through a combination of forklift operation, material handling, and clerical tasks related to shipping and receiving. This role primarily involves operating a stand-up forklift while also performing hands-on duties such as order preparation, packaging, and inventory movement. The position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and adherence to structured processes in a dynamic warehouse environment. Job Responsibilities Operate a stand-up forklift to move, stage, and store materials Receive incoming shipments, verify items against documentation, and inspect for accuracy and condition Gather, verify, pack, strap, and band items for shipment based on specifications and transportation methods Perform putaway tasks and transport materials to designated storage or inspection areas Accurately record all received and shipped items following established procedures Complete written and electronic documentation related to warehouse activities Frequently get on and off equipment to support various warehouse functions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and operational success Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of stand-up forklift experience or 2 years of sit-down forklift experience Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow all safety protocols Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed Comfort working in varying warehouse temperatures throughout the year Education High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience Work Experience At least 1 year of related warehouse or distribution experience required #ZR
