Industrial Site Superintendent (Electrical) - Temp Contract

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $60.00/hour

Per Diem: $175/day - 7 days per week

Schedule: Day Shift | 100% Onsite

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Site Superintendent (Electrical) for a temporary contract role supporting large-scale industrial construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing field operations, managing subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule. Ideal candidates have strong industrial construction experience and the ability to lead teams in fast-paced job site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily field construction activities and electrical site operations
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite crews to maintain productivity
• Coordinate with client trades and internal teams to drive project completion
• Enforce safety procedures, including daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings, contracts, and specifications
• Maintain project schedules by adjusting workflows as needed
• Lead progress meetings to review schedules, issues, and site updates
• Manage site logistics including deliveries, equipment, and access control
• Maintain daily logs, field reports, and safety documentation
• Identify delays, risks, or quality issues and communicate to project management
• Support project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience, including 2+ years as a Site Superintendent in industrial environments
• Electrical construction supervision experience preferred
• Ability to travel and remain onsite through project completion
• Strong blueprint, plan, and specification reading skills
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and field operations
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
• Data center project experience is a plus
