Scope of Position This highly motivated individual, as part of the Supply Chain & Operations team, will be responsible for accomplishing team results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures while fostering a safe and collaborative environment for continuous improvement. This position is responsible for supervision of the Shipping & Receiving teams. This position reports to Sr. Supply Chain Manager. This role is onsite and is based in Menomonee Falls, WI. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, and developing employees to support shipping, receiving, warehousing, and internal material movement operations.
- Maintains material flow by monitoring inbound and outbound logistics processes; setting material handling standards; observing control points within shipping, receiving, and storage areas; monitoring staffing levels and equipment resources; analyzing workflows; implementing cost reduction initiatives; developing and maintaining logistics reporting systems; facilitating resolution of material flow disruptions; and promoting cooperation within and across departments.
- Executes materials plans by scheduling and assigning labor and equipment to meet production and shipping requirements; establishing daily priorities; monitoring progress against plan; adjusting schedules as required; resolving inventory or movement issues; and reporting results through shift and daily materials summaries.
- Maintains quality and service levels by establishing and enforcing standards for material handling, storage, packaging, receiving efficiency, shipping accuracy, and on-time performance.
- Ensures operational readiness of material handling equipment by coordinating repairs, preventative maintenance, and evaluating new equipment, technologies, and handling techniques.
- Provides materials and logistics information by compiling, reviewing, and analyzing shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, cycle count, and material movement data; responding to inquiries from operations, supply chain, and leadership.
- Creates and improves systems and procedures by analyzing material handling practices, inventory controls, warehouse management processes, documentation, budgetary constraints, and staffing requirements; implementing continuous improvement initiatives and process changes.
- Maintains a safe and organized work environment by training employees on proper material handling methods and equipment usage; enforcing safety policies; ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Resolves issues by analyzing data, investigating concerns, identifying root causes, and recommending or implementing corrective actions.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending training and educational workshops; reviewing industry publications; networking with supply chain and logistics professionals; benchmarking best practices; and participating in professional organizations.
- Contributes to team success by supporting cross-functional initiatives and completing related responsibilities as needed.
- Manages direct reports including timekeeping, performance management, goal setting, workload prioritization, and measurement of individual and team performance.
- Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned to support materials, logistics, and operational objectives.
- Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by [insert title of manager's position] or Company management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a manufacturing related field plus 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment or the equivalent of 7+ years manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.

- 1+ years previous supervisory experience

Working Conditions: While performing the job duties, you will be working on-site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company's Menomonee Falls, WI location. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager. Physical Requirements: Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods.
- Ability to physically move around the office and manufacturing floor, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials.

- Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls.

- Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
