Responsible for the maintenance of the Practice's medical records systems. Ensures that the records are available for physicians and other appropriate personnel for patient care. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with Practice policies and procedures.

REQUIRED:
1. A high school diploma and one year experience as a file clerk or equivalent administrative work or college experience. 2. Proficiency in typing, phone, and computer skills including Microsoft office 3. Must be able to spell with a high degree of accuracy. 4. Good verbal and written communication skills. 5. Detail focused individual with ability to file and sort documents in alphabetical and numerical order.
PREFERRED:
1. Experience in a medical practice office setting. 2. Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school). 3. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards 4. Previous experience in Medical Records role.
