As the Director, Engineering & Projects, you'll be a strategic, field-connected leader overseeing project engineering, construction delivery, and SME management for our U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) assets. You'll partner closely with Operations and Maintenance to align capital planning, schedules, and execution-while ensuring waterfront activities are coordinated with regulatory, compliance, and stakeholder requirements. What You Will Do:

  • Leads the project group for all USGC capital projects

  • Aids in maintenance projects, to include operational technical aid

  • Advance crude oil expansion projects to include EIEC Phase VII, Blackbeard, Crane, Gray Oak and EHOT

  • Manage project completion and commissioning of new high volatile gases projects at EIEC

  • Lead the coordination and integration needs for assets based on the initial business requirements identified in the business plan and related due diligence reports

  • Develop a plan for evaluating processes, procedures, and systems between Enbridge and the newly acquired

    assets to identify the best practices

  • Collaborate with appropriate internal and external partners to gather information, conduct evaluations, and coordinate integration as deemed necessary

  • Oversee the MOC processes required to properly vet and document changes brought on by integration activities

  • Aid in supporting newly onboarded resources to familiarize them with existing Enbridge processes, procedures, and ways of working with the intention of making the transition into the Enbridge workforce as smooth as possible

  • Participate in strategy and leadership plans

  • Lead of technical and engineering support for Enbridge Transition Services Agreement

  • Aid in review and assessment of projects and acquisitions

  • Develop corporate guidelines and standards for the company

  • Develop projects and conceptual developments efficiently

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent project execution experience.

  • Approximately 12 years of progressively responsible and varied management experience in the pipeline

    industry, field management, efficient major projects' execution, technical management, technical operations.

  • Exceptional business, analytical, and financial competence.

  • Aptitude and communications skills related to leading and acting independently as a member of the Liquids

    Pipelines Operations leadership team, coupled with exemplary negotiation capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead and manage change

  • Shown ability to perform associated tasks

  • Familiar with Enbridge's processes, practices and systems related to operation of liquid pipeline assets

    * Self-motivated, proven effective leadership and communication skills

  • Relationship building skills with employees, peers, and partners

  • Preferred: Master's degree in business or related area

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with regular travel to field locations in the US Gulf Coast Area

  • Occasional travel to other Enbridge office locations (e.g. Calgary, Edmonton).

  • Position requires an objective, analytical view of processes to develop sound recommendations

  • Required to communicate complex technical, commercial and operational issues to technical and non-technical

    personnel as well as Senior Leadership.

  • Frequent imposed deadlines for ad-hoc type requests and initiatives.

  • Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.

  • Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible, fast paced, dynamic and highly complex.

  • Numerous, often competing interests must be handled concurrently whilst negotiating/influencing within and

    outside the organization

Physical Requirements:

Include but not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above

shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding,

read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements:

Include but not limited to: Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions

and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate

with individuals via telephone.
