The Opportunity
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is currently recruiting for a Student Employment Specialist within the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for supporting the Prescott campus' student employment hiring initiatives. Embry-Riddle's Prescott Campus is respected worldwide for cutting-edge instruction and training for tomorrow's aviation, aerospace, security and intelligence leaders. The university is a small, private, residential university in the mountains of Arizona with approximately 3,500 students. Staff/faculty/student interaction is highly valued and is a central theme of our campus. The Prescott Campus is located 100 miles north of Phoenix and 120 miles south of the Grand Canyon. Job SummaryThe Student Employment Specialist performs a variety of technical, administrative, and confidential duties related to the day-to-day functioning of the department and carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting and employment (primarily hiring students; providing support to hiring managers and onboard new student hires), provide training and development sessions, and a wide variety of general human resources administration. This is a full-time, exempt role with benefits. Under the direct oversight of the Director of Student Employment (located at the Daytona Beach, FL Campus), this fast-paced position will work in partnership with hiring managers throughout the campus.
