Job Overview

Bloomingdale's Housekeeping Support Professionals deliver seamless maintenance, sanitization and cleaning functions - wiping, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, etc. - of the sales floor, rest rooms, fitting rooms, elevators/escalators, break rooms and all other common areas and offices. They possess speed, attention to detail, collaborative spirit and teamwork to ensure a clean shopping and work experience for our customers and colleagues.

Essential Functions

• Deliver a courteous and professional demeanor to all internal customers and colleagues
• Clean and sanitize work and shopping areas to the highest standards

Qualifications and Competencies

• No Education or Experience Required
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department
• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and climbing ladders
• Frequently lift/move up to 30lbs
