Work Schedule: 100% FTE, days. Hours may vary based on operational needs, but will fall between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. You will work at the University Hospital in Madison, WI. Help provide nutrition consultation and education to patients and their families who are screened at or identified with nutrition risk at UW Health. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to:
- Serve as the patient's nutrition advocate.
- Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy to patients of varying acuity levels including management of enteral nutrition initiation and advancement, per the nutrition related protocols.
- Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Education:
- Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field
- Preferred - Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field
Work Experience:
- Minimum - One (1) year of clinical and nutrition related experience
- Preferred - Two (2) years of clinical and nutrition related experience
Licenses and Certifications: Minimum -
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Certification/Licensure as required by the State of Wisconsin
- Illinois Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist credential for interstate practice as required by the State of Illinois for RDNs in the ambulatory setting within 3 months of employment
Preferred -
- Certified specialist as required for the position or ability to complete within the first two years of employment
- Maintain CPR certification
