Job Description We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Tier 2 IT Support Engineer to support Tier I analysts and handle escalated technical issues. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and providing dependable support across Microsoft 365, networking, and remote support tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 admin centers, Tier 2 networking support, and experience using PSA, RMM, and documentation tools to track, resolve, and prevent issues. This position requires the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Over time, this individual will also support onsite client projects, contribute to technical improvements, and help drive ongoing advancements for customer environments. Responsibilities * Handle Tier 2 support tickets and escalations from Tier I analysts * Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues * Provide administrative and technical support within Microsoft 365 admin centers * Support VPN connectivity, user access, and permission-related issues * Utilize PSA tools for ticketing, documentation management, and service tracking * Create and maintain clear technical documentation and knowledge base articles * Leverage RMM tools for monitoring, alerting, and proactive issue resolution * Effectively prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous issues * Support onsite client projects and assist with technical initiatives and improvements Required Skills * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Tier 2 networking support and troubleshooting * Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 admin centers * VPN support and user access management * Familiarity with PSA tools, documentation management, and RMM platforms Preferred Skills & Qualifications * Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanor * Ability to multitask and perform well in a high-pressure environment * Experience supporting Cisco products and Microsoft Server environments (preferred) * Certifications preferred: * CompTIA A+ * CompTIA Network+ * CompTIA Security+ * Cisco CCENT Experience Level * Intermediate Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Cockeysville, MD.
