How You'll Contribute:

Reporting directly to the CRO and serving as a key member of the CRO leadership team, this is a high-impact executive opportunity to help architect and scale the growth engine of a $1B global systems integrator.

As the VP, Commercial Operations, you will be the operational counterpart to the CRO's strategic mandate, translating vision into scalable, data-driven execution across the entire commercial organization. You will own and optimize the end-to-end commercial infrastructure spanning sales operations, revenue operations, proposal management, deal desk, GTM technology, analytics, and AI strategy.

This is a highly visible leadership role with enterprise-wide influence across global geographies, business units, and solution practices. You will drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations while building the systems, processes, insights, and commercial rigor needed to grow new teams, accelerate growth and improve performance globally.

Leading a team of 5-8 Directors and Senior Directors, you will modernize the commercial operating model, elevate execution, and create the foundation for the company's next phase of scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and govern the global sales operating model, including territory design, quota frameworks, capacity planning, and coverage strategy.
  • Own CRM strategy, pipeline integrity, forecasting, and data governance across all commercial systems, delivering accurate revenue visibility to the CRO, ELT, and Board.
  • Align Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success through a unified GTM operating model, shared data architecture, and common performance metrics.
  • Drive commercial performance across pipeline velocity, win rates, retention, productivity, and revenue growth.
  • Lead the global proposal management function, including strategic pursuits, bid governance, and RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses.
  • Own the commercial technology stack, including CRM, CPQ, proposal management, marketing automation, BI, and sales engagement platforms, while defining the AI and automation roadmap for commercial operations.
  • Transform and lead a centralized deal desk supporting quote-to-cash execution, pricing, approvals, discounting, and complex commercial terms.
  • Develop scalable pricing and deal structuring capabilities across labor models, equipment margins, subcontracting, and project risk.
  • Build and maintain a single source of truth for GTM analytics and performance metrics, delivering dashboards on pipeline health, revenue performance, bid outcomes, and tool ROI.
  • Lead commercial enablement strategy, including sales playbooks, messaging, and sales readiness, in partnership with Marketing and Offering Management across AV integration, broadcast, experiential, and managed services offerings.

What You'll Bring:

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, revenue operations, commercial operations, or GTM strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading commercial operations, revenue operations, or GTM strategy within a $1B+ revenue organization or similarly complex global enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning bid management or large deal pursuit functions.
  • Proven track record building and scaling GTM technology stacks, including CRM, CPQ, and BI platforms.
  • Practical experience evaluating and deploying AI tools in a commercial context.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to present to CRO, CEO, and Board audiences.
  • Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience at a global systems integrator, IT services firm, or large professional services organization strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
