Growth Marketing Operations Specialist
Summary

The Growth Marketing Operations team plays a critical role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for a suite of media products and subscription-based services. The team is responsible for developing and executing in-app messaging delivered to millions of global users across multiple digital services.

We are seeking a self-motivated, curious, and detail-oriented professional to drive day-to-day operational workflows for growth marketing initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, and business teams to deliver multi-channel customer communications that increase awareness and engagement across a broad services ecosystem.

This position will also help identify gaps and inefficiencies in the tools and processes used to create and execute customer messaging. As a subject matter expert in customer journey orchestration, the ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong execution and thrives in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization.


Key Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of lifecycle marketing experience, including building and launching acquisition and engagement campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with CRM/ESP platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Braze, or Oracle Responsys
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; SQL experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight timelines
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and make sound decisions when faced with unexpected challenges
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and consideration for cross-functional impact
  • Excellent communication skills across formats, including Slack, email, and presentations
  • Familiarity with digital products, subscription services, and multi-platform ecosystems (mobile, desktop, and media services)

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, operational efficiency, and marketing technology tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on plans, deliverables, risks, and execution across large-scale global initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to influence platform development and feature prioritization
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of best practices, playbooks, and training resources
  • Monitor campaign execution to ensure operational integrity and proactively identify and communicate issues

Education & Details

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience preferred
  • 12-month hybrid contract
  • Location: New York, NY
  • Pay: $65.36/hour
