Job Title: Engineering Lab Coordinator Department: Dean's Office, School of Engineering College/Division: School Of Engineering Primary Job Posting Location: Macon, GA 31207 Additional Job Posting Locations: (Other locations that this position could be based) Job Details: The School of Engineering is searching for an Engineering Lab Coordinator for the Macon, Georgia campus. Responsibilities: This position requires the ability to maintain devices and equipment in various engineering laboratories. It also requires ability to consult with faculty for the purpose of organizing laboratories for the support of teaching and research activities. This person will also assist students with design projects and will need to continue to learn to use new hardware, software, chips, devices, additive manufacturing equipment and programs to keep up with the needs of a changing curriculum. Person will also use their skills to help faculty and students with research projects. Additional responsibilities include:
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. Candidates with a master's degree in Engineering are preferred. Additionally, candidates should have one year of experience in an additive manufacturing and electronics laboratory, which should include experience ordering parts/materials, working with lab instruction and safety, and working with students from a variety of disciplines. Experience gained while earning an engineering degree will be considered. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
