Senior Information Security Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will function as a Senior Information Security Analyst, responsible for identifying security risks, investigating incidents, and ensuring the implementation of appropriate data security procedures. You will leverage your expertise in SIEM platforms like Splunk and EDR tools to analyze complex security challenges and contribute to the organization's overall security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Information Security Engineering
• Identify security risks companywide and ensure appropriate data security procedures and products are implemented
• Maintain an awareness of security policies and government regulations pertaining to information security
• Review the development, testing, and implementation of security plans, products, and control techniques
• Develop and implement security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments
• Investigate and recommend appropriate corrective actions for data security incidents
• Provide security consulting on complex information security projects
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Information Security Engineering or Analysis experience
• 2+ years of experience with Splunk or an equivalent SIEM platform
• 2+ years of experience with an EDR tool, such as CrowdStrike
• 2+ years of experience with triage, analysis, and investigating phishing attacks
• 1+ year of mentorship or lead experience
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with onsite work expected in Chandler, AZ
• Must be able to work a Tuesday - Friday, 10-hour day shift (MST) and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
