Financial Operations Manager & Business Partnership - US Leasing Advisory

Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Financial Operations Manager to support and execute the Americas Leasing Advisory Order to Cash (O2C) process. This role will collaborate across functions to optimize the O2C cycle, driving efficiency and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, capable of implementing process improvements, and working effectively across various departments to achieve financial goals. This position requires a solid background in finance, accounting, and process improvement, with experience leveraging technology to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end Leasing Advisory Order to Cash Process execution, monitoring, and improvement initiatives.

  • Execute cross-functional projects to improve O2C processes, support system implementations, and enhance financial operations.

  • Collaborate closely with business, operations, Controllership, and Finance teams to ensure efficient and accurate O2C output.

  • Support Leasing Advisory AR/Cash initiatives to optimize processes and contribute to reductions in days sales outstanding (DSO) and overdue AR.

  • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Utilize technology (ex. AI, PS, PAX, Tableau) and other solutions for process automation and productivity improvements.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, including potential for standardization of transactional activities (e.g., billing, AR, collections, and cash application escalations).

  • Propose and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the order to cash cycle. Partner with local finance, operations, controllership and offshore teams to achieve KPI targets and support continuous improvement efforts.

  • Support training program delivery to ensure process consistency, enhance O2C skills and improve team performance.

  • Manage a team of analysts

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or project leadership role

* Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and deliver results through collaboration

* Solid knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS and experience with SOX compliance

* Experience implementing and maintaining accounting and financial controls

* Proficiency in ERP systems and financial management software

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Professional services industry experience preferred

* Ability to work from Chicago office minimum 3 days a week

Estimated compensation for this position:

100,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
