Digital Records Analyst (Contract)

Location: Tampa, FL

Pay Rate: $50.00-$53.00/hour

We are seeking an experienced Digital Records Analyst for a contract opportunity in Tampa, FL. This role supports legal, compliance, and data governance initiatives, ensuring digital records are managed, retained, and disposed of in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Implement and support digital records management systems and governance tools across business units
  • Ensure compliance with records retention policies, legal requirements, and data governance standards
  • Develop and deliver training on information governance and digital records best practices
  • Collaborate with Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics teams
  • Conduct legal research (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.) and assist with drafting memos and documentation
  • Support litigation holds and eDiscovery processes
  • Monitor digital records lifecycle to reduce compliance risk
  • Assist with cross-functional initiatives related to compliance, data governance, and records management



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Compliance, IT, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in information governance, records management, or legal/compliance operations
  • Knowledge of digital records systems, retention policies, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong research, writing, and documentation skills
  • Experience with legal tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) preferred
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills



Preferred:



  • Experience in utilities, legal, or compliance environments
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery, data governance frameworks, or project management
