As a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and sensitive telecom or media operations.
• Support incident reporting, assist with de-escalation during challenging interactions, and follow Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols for weapons handling, patrol activity, and security-related response actions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
