HB Dental is a beautiful dental office in Leesburg, Florida. We are seeking a qualified and caring Certified Dental Assistant to join our team!

As a Certified Dental Assistant, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures. The ideal candidate has a current license and at least two years of experience. If you’re friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you!

Starting rate depends on experience and will be discussed at interview.

Fast pace, willing to train. No weekend hours.

Dental Assistant job duties include but are not limited to:

• Chairside assistant to dentist
• Making temporary crown
• Handing instrument to dentist
• Setting up operatory for treatment
• Discussing treatment with patients
• Taking X-Rays (Pano and Bitewing)
• Sterilization- making sure all instruments are cleaned and sterilized.
• Cleaning operatory and set up for procedures. 

Requirements and Qualifications

• Dental assistant certificate from an accredited vocational school (preferred)
• 1+ years of dental assisting experience
• X-ray certification a plus
• Current BLS and CPR certification
• Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
