Job Description




As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. As part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, you will help to deter incidents while upholding our caring culture and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, and other sensitive locations.
  • Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel entering the location in accordance with post orders, including documentation checks, badge processes, and/or inspection procedures as required by the site.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or unusual conditions according to Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
