As a Security Officer Patrol Operative in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This unarmed role blends customer service and communication with a caring, people-first approach. Working as part of a reliable, agile team, you will support staff, patients, and visitors with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or common areas in accordance with site procedures while reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support a caring and respectful environment by assisting with de-escalation, directing individuals to the proper location, and communicating with staff during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
