Responsibilities

Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist

  • Utilize various software programs to process work instruction documentation through various processes.

  • Manage documentation retention processes that require occasional shipments to and from Howmet.

Essential Functions:

  • Use Teamcenter software to complete the following for work instruction documentation: creating product containers for all work instructions, creating containers for specific operations, processing the instruction through approval process, publish instruction to WIE software for official use, and archiving outdated documents.
  • Process customer specifications and blueprints through approval and publishing processes.
  • Manage the organization and retention of physical copies of customer specifications.
  • Conduct internal audits in various departments throughout the facility.
  • Manage the record retention process for all documents and Xray film (this includes shipping them out and recalling them if necessary).
  • Control the customer return process in ETQ software (this includes receiving the product, pulling it from the box, inputting data into ETQ system, working with Quality Engineer on product next steps, and report out monthly status to management).
  • Comply with all sites required policies and procedures including but not limited to EHS, Quality, and Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • One year of relative work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to function using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel programs.
  • Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
  • Experience in internal auditing.
  • Five years of relative work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of investment casting process flow.
