M365 Support Engineer Locations: Irving, TX Length: 12-36 Month Contract Hybrid: 3 Days in 2 Days Remote Role Overview: This team serves as the first line of defense for Messaging and Collaboration tools, including Outlook, SharePoint, Webex, Instant Messaging, and Teams. Most of the support is needed with MS Teams. Full Job Description Below: -Responsible for Messaging and Collaboration supported applications to include Outlook, Sharepoint, web conferencing (WebEx), Instant Messaging (Lync/Skype, Group Chat) as major focus. Manages the integration of email with other systems such as mobile device and other unified communication technologies. -Administers the Messaging and Collaboration user accounts in the enterprise by creating user ids, effecting user name changes and moves, maintaining group lists, and removing terminated user ids (must adhere to regulatory requirements when needed) -Assumes the leadership role in the resolution of complex technical issues (SME) -Consults with application developers on issues related to the impact of applications -Coordinates with application developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions/applications (tasks to include but not limited to testing and documentation) -Provides technical expertise to internal IT groups and provide feedback and recommendations to management for service level and environment optimization -Protects the overall security of the messaging environment through the administration of access control lists, security measures and certification of external organizations -Provides training to users, junior technicians and other IT personnel Required Skills * Outlook MS-365 * Sharepoint administration * WebEx * Skype * Active Directory, working knowledge of * Microsoft Exchange * One drive * MS Teams * Microsoft Outlook * Microsoft IM/Communicator * WebEx * SharePoint Responsibilities * Have strong leadership, communication and presentation skills * Be proficient to work independently on multiple phases of various IT projects * Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and escalation point for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests * Provide technical leadership and guidance as well as check the work of less experienced associates * Develop new as well as update existing training and process/procedural documentation * Administer the Messaging and Collaboration user accounts in the enterprise by effecting user name changes and moves, maintaining group lists, and disabling mailboxes (must adhere to regulatory requirements when needed) * Consult with application developers on issues related to the impact of applications * Coordinate with application developers and project managers to deploy worldwide enterprise solutions/applications (tasks to include but not limited to testing and documentation) * Provide technical expertise to internal IT groups and provide feedback and recommendations to management for service level and environment optimization * Protect the overall security of the messaging environment through the administration of access control lists, security measures and certification of external organizations * Provide training to users, junior technicians and other IT personnel * Excellent written and oral communications skills with a focus on providing quality customer service * Ability to work with minimal direction and manage multiple tasks at the same time Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
