POSITION: Data Analyst Position Summary: Description. The Head of Payment & Card Operations is a senior operational leader responsible for strategic planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement of the Bank's payment systems and card operations. This role ensures reliable, compliant, and scalable payment processing across ACH, Wires, RTP / FedNow, Zelle, Debit / ATM, and digital payment platforms. The leader will partner cross-functionally with Product, IT, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Lines of Business to modernize payment capabilities and drive operational excellence and enhance customer experience. The role plays a important part in the Operations and Service division, executing strategic priorities established by the Head of Operations and Service. Key Result Areas: * Brings together disparate data sources and addresses any underlying data issues or nuances in advance of analyses. Creates complex, thoroughly vetted, and robust datasets that support multiple dashboards, thus ensuring consistent outcomes. Performs deep analysis and investigation to identify trends and patterns in the data, suggests new and compelling metrics for our stakeholders, and finds new and/or improved data visualization techniques in a self-driven manner. * Thinks critically about the processes and defines and pushes forward process improvement opportunities for the team and/or the organization. * Ensures the quality of reporting via extensive testing and checks with existing reporting and/or SMEs. * Creates strong partnerships with stakeholders, and builds their trust via technical expertise, adding value to analyses and data visualizations, and insights gleaned. * Communicates clearly, with the right level of detail, to present findings to stakeholders and top executives in a way that fosters understanding, collaboration, and enables decision making. * Thoughtfully engages with members of the organization regularly to drive requirements gathering, resolve issues, and perform data investigation. * Completes ad hoc requests for research and analysis. * Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of proven work experience creating, maintaining, and testing complex datasets, as well as performing data analyses and investigation. 1-2 years' experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau) and SQL. * Strong people management and project management skills with the ability to translate the business needs into clear requirements, ask more in-depth questions, and find more robust solutions for multiple business units of the organization. Demonstrated experience working with internal clients to understand their goals and to drive consensus building for organizational metrics. * Curiosity and drive to research improved methods of data visualization to keep CSB on the cutting edge of data-driven insights. Champions change to support these new methods. * Technical expertise regarding data mining, data visualization, and testing/QC. Able to create compelling dashboards and provide KPIs and key insights for the organization. * Critical thinking skills to go beyond the request, to understand the question being asked or the issue being addressed. * Self-driven and proactive, and takes ownership to independently prioritize and drive progress on multiple projects. Location: Hybrid/ Waltham, MA Salary Range: $70,000 - $87,500 The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $70,000 - $87,500.
