What You'll Do:
  • Provide thought leadership and build strong stakeholder partnerships to articulate current state, target state and domain roadmap.
  • Partner with delivery teams and domain leadership on architecture areas to include business, application, data, Cloud/infrastructure, security, integration, operations, and support in preparation for S1/S2 leadership meetings and architectural peer group meetings.
  • Research, understand and apply existing, new and emerging technologies and trends to determine their potential impact on technology domains.
  • Translate the enterprise's technology future-state architecture vision into principles, guidelines, standards and patterns to ensure alignment with broader strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities and approaches for solving domain problems from a broad enterprise perspective that may include new products, new platforms, or system enhancements for Agile teams and domain leadership to help promote the reuse of existing technical investments and capabilities.
  • Create and maintain reference materials for use by the technical delivery team to ensure consistent and compliant solutions for enterprise level architecture patterns.
  • Participate in the planning and design of strategic initiatives that require architecture guidance.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client Bank brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • This position will interface with senior leaders, and will require excellent communication skills along with basic knowledge of new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of those trends for strategic use
  • Develop and refine the roadmap for transitioning to a hybrid cloud model, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Create comprehensive high-level designs for cloud architecture, addressing scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Translate high-level designs into detailed solutions architecture, providing clear guidance for implementation teams.
  • Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to banking compliance standards and U.S. Federal regulations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
  • Lead and guide implementation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Build strong relationships with management, providing expert advice and insights to support decision-making.
  • Effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fostering understanding and collaboration.
  • Ensures seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners directly impacting SLAs, cost, performance, and agility in hybrid cloud environments.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software engineering, software delivery or solution architecture
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Cloud Strategy & Architecture
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Executive Communication & Influence
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines within OpenShift environments.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in designing data exchange patterns between on premises and public cloud for synchronized, a synchronized and batch exchange.
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in cloud architecture
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in focused on Azure hybrid environments.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT or Engineering
  • Working knowledge of architectural frameworks
  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture tools
  • Graduate degree in business or technical discipline
  • Certification and experience working with Cloud technologies and vendors
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks
  • Experience working in the financial services industry
  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, identity management using Azure AD, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Understanding virtual networks, subnets, load balancers, DNS, and hybrid connectivity in Azure environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud principles, services, and architecture, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
  • Designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions blueprints to meet organizational needs.
  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, and expertise in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Competence in Azure data storage options, data migration strategies, and analytics services.
  • The ability to manage resources effectively and implement strategies for cost control within Azure environments.
  • A creative and analytical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.
  • Staying updated on Azure's rapidly evolving tools, features, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes-based platforms like AKS and OpenShift for managing containerized applications.
  • Understanding how to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently in OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with OpenShift's built-in security features, such as role-based access control (RBAC) and security contexts for containers.
  • Knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift's native monitoring solutions.
  • Ability to use OpenShift templates, operators, and Helm charts for personalized deployments.
  • Understanding of Snowflake's cloud-native data warehouse architecture, as well as Data Bricks and Fabric.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake's data-sharing capabilities for seamless collaboration across organizations.
  • Knowledge of Colo providers, data center operations, and SLA management
  • Certifications in Azure Solution Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Certified Cloud Service Manager, DevOps Engineer
