Part-time Faculty Wage in Accounting, McIntire School of Commerce (Faculty Wage)

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applicants for one or more part-time, faculty wage positions in the Accounting Area, for the 2026-27 academic year, beginning in August 2026. The position will teach one or more sections of Foundations of Financial Accounting, or related courses in financial accounting.

Qualifications

• A CPA or a graduate degree in Business or a closely related field is required.
• Industry or educational experience in the accounting field is required; previous experience teaching accounting in a higher education setting is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative team skills and the desire to work in a dynamic environment that stresses teamwork, innovation, and student-centered learning.
