Job Description




As a Security Officer Badge Desk in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support residents and guests with professional customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control authorized access for residents, guests, deliveries, and contractors.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the community, amenities, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and other security-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate logs and reports related to visitor entry, incidents, and daily activities, and report maintenance and/or security-related issues through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
