Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or property-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other access points to help support authorized access, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily operations at the location by completing routine reports, maintaining visible presence throughout the property, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A current guard card and/or license is preferred.
• A current pepper spray certification is preferred.
• A current handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
