Summary
The Senior Information Technology Project Manager is a key member of the IT Project Delivery Team, responsible for leading the planning, execution, and oversight of complex technology programs/projects that support the Authority's strategic and operational goals. This role manages end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives-including new software implementations, IT service deployments, and process scaling-while ensuring adherence to ITIL/ITSM practices, Enterprise Architecture guidelines, Cyber Security requirements, and other NYPA technical standards and policies. Working under the guidance of the Senior Manager of IT Project Delivery and within established IT strategy and governance frameworks, the Sr. IT Project Manager organizes and directs cross-functional project/program teams, assigns responsibilities, develops integrated schedules, determines and secures resource requirements, and monitors progress against scope, budget, timeline, and quality targets. The role collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners, effectively managing expectations and communications to drive successful outcomes. The Sr. IT Project Manager is accountable for tracking and reporting project status-including cost, timing, staffing, risks, and issues-while ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards, IT operational and change management procedures, and the guidance of IT Project Governance and the Project Review Committee. By facilitating process improvements and delivering enhanced information for management decision-making, this position contributes directly to the efficient operation of the business. This role may encompass both general project/program management responsibilities and technical project leadership, applying foundational technical knowledge to advise on scope changes and other technical aspects, and ensuring that all initiatives are delivered in a controlled, compliant, and business-value-driven manner. #LI-AE1 Responsibilities

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
