Description Position Overview The Business Development Manager will play a critical, hybrid role driving both operational performance and strategic growth within Green Bay Packaging's Specialty Division and Key Customers. This position is a blended role responsible to focus on operational improvement, efficiency, and internal alignment coupled with commercial strategic account expansion and revenue growth. This individual will serve as a key collaborator between sales and operations, bringing deep industry knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to influence without direct authority. Responsibilities Partner with Specialty Division leadership to identify and implement initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Drive working capital improvements through better alignment of production planning, inventory management, and customer demand. Act as a liaison between sales and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and scale-up of new business opportunities. Support the development and execution of structured onboarding plans for new accounts and product lines. Coach and develop key operational team members to strengthen execution and accountability. Identify gaps between commercial commitments and operational capabilities and help close those gaps. Execute targeted outreach and structured engagement with top-priority accounts. Identify and pursue specialty product opportunities within accounts that have existing or prior relationships with Green Bay Packaging. Build consultative relationships with key stakeholders to uncover new applications and drive value-added solutions. Develop and implement account-specific growth strategies aligned with divisional capabilities. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in sales, with an emphasis on coated products sales Strong, aggressive sales and prospecting abilities Ability to build rapport with prospects and clients Ability to work across multiple teams and across Green Bay Packaging divisions Ability to travel over 25% Commitment to outstanding customer service Reports to National Account Manager This position offers a base salary with a commission structure. Commission payments are distributed on a quarterly basis.
