Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our client on a Direct Hire opportunity located in Dallas, TX 75231.
Salary: Up to $130K/year DOE
Bonus Opportunity: Up to 33.5%
Profit Sharing: Company-funded 401(k) profit sharing contribution
Employee Stock Purchase Program: Employees may purchase up to $400/week in company stock with a 10% company match
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 100% Onsite | Flexible First-Shift Hours

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create precise, custom steel joist designs supporting diverse, high-impact construction projects.
  • Perform structural design work in accordance with industry standards and company manufacturing processes.
  • Review contract documents including structural and architectural drawings and project specifications.
  • Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teams throughout project design and development.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including other design professionals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
