We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Division Manager to lead daily operations, financial performance, team development, and customer relationships for our Pembroke Pines division. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for overseeing divisional success while ensuring operational excellence, employee engagement, and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong business acumen, operational management experience, and the ability to build lasting relationships with employees, municipal partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Leadership
- Oversee divisional operations, accounting functions, budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, and financial planning activities
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Develop annual budgets, goals, and performance objectives in collaboration with the Regional Vice President
- Analyze monthly operational and financial results while identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings
- Lead process improvement initiatives and implement operational controls and efficiencies
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and support department managers and divisional staff
- Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and development for exempt and non-exempt employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Build strong working relationships across operations, maintenance, customer service, accounting, and support teams
Customer & Community Relations
- Serve as the primary divisional leader for client support and escalated operational matters
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal staff, business partners, and community stakeholders
- Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for future growth within the market
- Represent the division professionally within the community and organization
Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Vice President on strategic planning and division performance initiatives
- Lead and oversee special projects and operational initiatives
- Participate in company-sponsored leadership and professional development programs
- Stay current with industry trends, operational technology, and best practices

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required; equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience may be considered
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management or supervisory experience, preferably in operations, transportation, logistics, environmental services, waste management, or a related industry
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams and managers
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, forecasting, and operational performance
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, along with experience using business systems and reporting tools
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL license and DOT Medical Card preferred
