Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an administrative associate to provide office support and serve as the first point of contact for the Human Services department.
Duties include completing general administrative work, including typing and filing correspondence, meeting minutes and course materials; scheduling appointments; routing mail; completing purchase requisitions and other forms; reconciling the budget; serving as receptionist for the human services department by handling incoming telephone calls, greeting walk-in visitors and acting as liaison between the human services faculty and students; and executing enrollment and course offering procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or the equivalent; two years of office experience; and excellent computer, MS Office, organizational and human relations skills.
Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual English/Creole and have an associate degree in office technology, secretarial science or other relevant field.

The starting hourly rate for this position will likely range from $18.82 to $23.10 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
