This individual will bring strong technical expertise in .NET, C#, and SQL, along with the ability to lead initiatives, mentor others, and contribute to the success of complex, enterprise-level projects.

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work across teams, influence technical direction, and help shape scalable solutions that support critical clinical and financial workflows.

Gehrimed is a leading electronic health record (EHR) platform purposebuilt for postacute and longterm care providers. We support clinicians and care teams with tools for clinical documentation, quality reporting, interoperability, and regulatory compliance-helping them deliver better care to complex, highacuity populations. As part of Netsmart, Gehrimed operates at meaningful scale while still tackling deep, interesting technical challenges across web, mobile, integrations, and healthcare data. Engineers on Gehrimed work on software that directly impacts patient care, provider workflows, and realworld healthcare outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Drive and contribute to the full software development lifecycle across large, complex initiatives
  • Design, build, and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions with a high degree of independence
  • Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with and help guide onshore and offshore teams, ensuring alignment and delivery consistency
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies, project planning, and delivery execution using structured methodologies
  • Establish and track metrics, risks, and mitigation plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support production systems as needed
What You'll Bring Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET, C#, and SQL in an enterprise environment
  • Proven experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to design and build complex systems with scalability and maintainability in mind
  • Experience mentoring or leading other engineers in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver high-quality work within defined timelines
Preferred
  • Experience within healthcare, health and human services, or post-acute environments
  • Familiarity with Netsmart EHR solutions, including Gehrimed
  • Experience working in distributed team environments (onshore/offshore collaboration)
