Position Summary

The Supply Chain Data Analyst develops, maintains, and improves enterprise supply chain reporting, dashboards, and KPI scorecards that support recurring reporting cadences across Trident business units. This role extracts, cleanses, transforms, validates, and presents data from ERP systems, Excel, SharePoint, and other internal sources to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights for leadership. The analyst partners with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Program teams to standardize metrics, improve data quality, reduce manual reporting, and support decision-making related to inventory, supplier performance, material readiness, and working capital.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets, and KPI scorecards that support recurring supply chain reporting across all Trident business units.
  • Extract, cleanse, validate, transform, and consolidate data from ERP systems, Excel files, SharePoint, and other internal data sources.
  • Build and maintain repeatable data models, queries, measures, and visualizations that support accurate and governed reporting.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports for supply chain leadership, business unit reviews, and executive reporting cadences.
  • Analyze trends and drivers related to inventory, procurement, material readiness, supplier performance, backlog, past-due exposure, and working capital; communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Program Management, and other stakeholders to define reporting requirements, standardize KPI definitions, and improve dashboard usability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual reporting, improve data integrity, and streamline reporting workflows.
  • Maintain documentation for KPI logic, data sources, business rules, report refresh processes, and dashboard administration to support sustainability and governance.
  • Support data quality reviews, reconcile discrepancies, and work with process owners to improve master data and transactional data accuracy.
  • Present analyses and insights in clear, executive-ready formats that support leadership decision-making.
  • Ability to support multi-site or off-site work, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a similar analytical role.
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, charting, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating, and presenting data from multiple sources.
  • Experience using Power Query, DAX, SQL, or similar data transformation and modeling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly to business stakeholders and prepare executive-ready reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with general supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting supply chain, procurement, planning, inventory, or operations reporting in a manufacturing, aerospace and defense, or government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
  • Experience with SharePoint lists, document libraries, or workflow tools that support reporting and collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs, including inventory health, lead time, supplier performance, shortage exposure, and working capital.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or a similar business intelligence certification.
  • Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, and presentation skills.
