Overview
The Senior Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing enterprise and clinical business applications, including electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other core operational platforms. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that support both provider and health plan operations. This individual serves as a senior functional and technical liaison, contributing to system design, configuration, analysis, testing, and production support. The role also plays a key part in driving continuous improvement, ensuring system integrity, and supporting critical workflows across clinical, operational, and administrative domains. What You Will Do: Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements across enterprise and clinical systems. Lead support, optimization, and ongoing enhancement efforts for EMR, enterprise, and specialized clinical applications, ensuring system stability, performance, data integrity, and high availability. Serve as the senior functional and technical liaison between business teams (clinical, operations, care management, and health plan teams) and IT, translating business needs into scalable, sustainable system solutions. Support critical healthcare applications such as HHA Exchange, GuidingCare, Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Parachute, Netsmart/MyEvolv, Athenahealth, or comparable healthcare platforms supporting clinical, home care, care management, and operational workflows. Collaborate with developers, integration teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to design, configure, support, and optimize system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades. Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive timely resolution across internal and external support teams. Participate in and help lead the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, implementation, and post-production support. Develop and oversee execution of test strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring high-quality solution delivery. Analyze end-to-end workflows across clinical, operational, and administrative functions and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, automation, and user experience. Monitor system performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend opportunities for optimization, scalability, and operational improvement. Manage escalated support issues and production incidents while identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term corrective solutions. Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including business requirements, workflows, process maps, configurations, knowledge articles, and user guides. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and team development. Support regulatory compliance, audit readiness, system controls, and data integrity initiatives across healthcare technology platforms. Contribute to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, cross-functional projects, and healthcare technology transformation efforts.
Technical & Functional Skills Strong understanding of EMR, clinical, enterprise, and healthcare operations systems within complex healthcare environments. Hands-on experience supporting one or more healthcare platforms such as HHA Exchange, GuidingCare, Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Parachute, Netsmart/MyEvolv, Athenahealth, or similar clinical and operational healthcare applications strongly preferred. Deep understanding of workflows across clinical care delivery, home health, care management, post-acute care, referral management, provider operations, and/or health plan administration. Experience with healthcare system integrations, interoperability concepts, data flows, APIs, interfaces, and vendor-supported platforms. Strong knowledge of systems analysis methodologies, business requirements documentation, and SDLC best practices. Ability to evaluate system capabilities, functional limitations, business process alignment, and integration dependencies across multiple platforms. Experience managing production support environments, service ticket workflows, incident management, and escalation processes. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related discipline, or the equivalent Required Work Experience:
- 4 + years of experience in enterprise applications, systems analysis, or healthcare IT environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting EMR systems and enterprise applications in a functional, technical, or hybrid capacity.
- Experience working in environments supporting both provider and health plan business models strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to system implementations, enhancements, and production support.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
Pay Range
USD $93,400.00 - USD $116,800.00 /Yr.
