Automation Controls Engineer - Direct Hire Location: Fremont, CA Pay: $79,000 - $140,000 annually + bonus, stock awards, and full benefits We are hiring an experienced Automation Controls Engineer to support high-volume automated manufacturing operations in Fremont, CA. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong PLC programming, industrial automation, robotics, and troubleshooting experience in fast-paced production environments. Key responsibilities include supporting 24/7 automated production systems, troubleshooting PLC, electrical, and mechanical issues, improving equipment uptime and OEE, and leading automation upgrades and commissioning activities. This role will also develop and modify PLC and HMI programs, maintain electrical schematics, implement machine safety systems, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.
