Job Description

Busperson (Food Runner)

Reporting to the Assistant Outlets Manager, the Busperson is responsible for offering individual warm and welcoming service by paying attention to the guests needs and looking for every opportunity to wow and delight them with your knowledge and service levels, as well as facilitating food service.

Rate of Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour plus tips

What you will be doing:

  • Support Servers in delivering a seamless, professional, and engaging dining experience
  • Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timing meet LQA standards
  • Maintain a strong understanding of menus, ingredients, and preparation methods to confidently support guest interactions
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, attentive service throughout the dining experience
  • Assist in setting, clearing, and resetting tables with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure all service areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
  • Communicate effectively with both Front of House and Culinary teams to ensure smooth service flow
  • Support large parties, special events, and unique dining experiences with professionalism
  • Clears tables and carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
  • Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
  • Passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • TIPS certification is a plus

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 25lbs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
