- In this role you will prepare comprehensive and detailed cost estimates across all project phases, including engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project goals
- You will help implement advanced benchmarking methodologies in cost estimation, contributing to the continuous improvement and maintenance of the company's benchmarking database
- You will proactively identify and evaluate cost-related risks, providing actionable recommendations to support mitigation strategies and project decision-making
- Further, you will prepare detailed cost reports, presentations, and budgets for executive management, articulating assumptions, risks, and projected expenditures. Ensure meticulous documentation and organization of all cost-related data
- You will partner with departments including Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, and Legal to ensure alignment on project goals and seamless execution
- You will provide mentorship to junior estimators, fostering their technical growth and professional development
What makes you great
- You have a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field
- You also have 10+ years of experience in cost estimation within an EPC environment
- You have professional certifications such as offered by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE), PMP, or equivalent
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools and software, including CostX, WinEst, AspenTech, and Cleopatra
- Comprehensive understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes, including related cost structures, budgeting, and risk management techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present detailed reports, communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, and liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors
