Salesforce Business Analyst

Locations: Riverwoods, IL -- Hybrid

Duration: 6 months assignment with the possibility of extension

Job Description:

• Salesforce Business Analyst (3-5 years) focused on Sales and Service Cloud, with a strong emphasis on business processes, reporting and analytics.
• Key responsibilities include translating business needs into scalable Salesforce reporting solutions, dashboards, and KPIs for sales and service teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document user stories, and create detailed functional specifications for reports and dashboards.
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and advanced reports to track pipeline, opportunities, case volumes, SLA metrics, and customer satisfaction.
• Configure and optimize Sales and Service Cloud objects, fields, validation rules, and security permissions to ensure accurate data capture for reporting.
• Develop data models and data quality controls, perform data cleansing.
• Onboarding/Training end users on new and updated reports and dashboards.
• Partner with IT and data analytics teams to integrate Salesforce data with external systems as needed for comprehensive reporting.
• Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, report catalogs, and governance policies.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices, assessing impact on reporting capabilities and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
