Description

Responsibilities:



  • Build guest and team member positive relations
  • Participates and conducts departmental meetings.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests. Inspects guest rooms, hallways and public areas immediately correcting any deficiencies.
  • Inspects and evaluates workers performance to ensure quality service and compliance with room housekeeping specifications and ensuring all departures are completed by check in.
  • Assists housekeeping supervisor with opening the house and other office duties.
  • Ensures each staff members are following all safety precautions.
  • Trains workers in proper operational procedures and functions.
  • Resolves customer complaints regarding worker performance and services rendered.
  • Inspects work areas and operating equipment to ensure conformance to established standards.
  • Cleans and shampoos all carpets on assigned floors.
  • Supervises and does performance appraisals on all assigned employees.
  • Assists housekeeping supervisor with screening and interviewing of applicants.
  • Performs the tasks of a guest room attendant, turndown attendant or house person as needed to facilitate service
  • Other duties as assigned.


Compensation:

$17.00 per hour

Physical Demands & Work Environment:



  • This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
  • Occasional: standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent: sitting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and hands
  • Speech and Vision abilities are required.



QUALIFICATIONS



  • High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of housekeeping experience including one (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to speak Basic English.
