*Position Overview* We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join a fast-paced call center environment supporting healthcare-related inquiries. This role involves handling inbound calls, addressing questions, and providing excellent service while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
*Key Responsibilities* * Handle a high volume of inbound calls (50-100 calls per day depending on complexity) * Respond to inquiries related to prior authorizations and general healthcare questions * Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism * Accurately enter and update customer information in multiple systems * Conduct follow-up calls as needed * Maintain quality and accuracy standards in all interactions *Required Skills & Qualifications* * At least 1 year of recent high-volume call center experience (within the past 2-3 years) * Strong customer service skills with attention to detail * Healthcare or medical industry experience preferred * Reliable work history (no frequent job changes) * Typing speed of at least 30 WPM * Proficiency with computer systems and multitasking across tools *Preferred Qualifications* * Pharmacy Technician certification * Bilingual abilities *Schedule & Training* * Must be available 7 days/week between 5:00 AM - 10:00 PM (set schedule assigned) * *Training:* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM for 4 weeks * Mandatory overtime required in January and February * Shift assignments determined by performance during training *Performance Expectations* * Participation in training is critical * Must achieve an average score of 90% across 4 training assessments * Evaluated on quality, accuracy, and customer interaction *Growth & Advancement Opportunities* * Strong internal promotion culture with opportunities to advance * Potential progression to Tier 2 Agent (increase in pay) * Exposure to other departments (Quality, Workforce, Reporting, Management, etc.) * Typical contract-to-hire conversion timeline: 8-9 months *Work Environment* * Collaborative, high-growth environment with opportunities for internal mobility * Proven track record of contractors transitioning into full-time and leadership roles *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
